Deep Tissue Massage

Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses acoustic waves to stimulate healing in musculoskeletal conditions, such as tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, and muscle pain. It promotes blood circulation, reduces inflammation, and accelerates tissue repair. Duration: Each session typically lasts 5 to 15 minutes, depending on the area being treated. A full course usually involves 3 to 6 sessions spaced one week apart for optimal results.

FAQ

Do you offer direct billing?

Yes, I provide Direct billing to most insurance companies. Should you have questions on whether your massage (or part of it) is covered by your benefits, please contact your insurance provider prior to receiving a treatment. Here are some of the companies we currently bill directly to:

  • Telus eclaims
  • Cooperators
  • GSC

I also provide more direct billing. Please provide me your insurance when you book an appointment online.

Will my extended health care plan cover the costs of massage therapy?

Because massage therapy is a recognized health care treatment, most extended plans cover massage therapy and many offer direct billing. It’s best to check with your insurance provider before your appointment to see how much is covered and whether you require a doctor’s note in advance for reimbursement purposes.

If your insurance company is not set up for direct billing with Just Relax Massage Therapy, please be prepared with an alternate form of payment. After your treatment you will be provided with a receipt, that you may use to arrange for subsequent reimbursement with your insurance company.

Do I have to take off all of my clothes?

No. You can receive an effective, therapeutic massage regardless of what clothing (if any) you choose to remove. Your comfort and ability to relax is a top priority for me. It enables me to deliver effective massage therapy as well as make you feel at ease. I am trained to make sure the fresh sheet on the massage table always drapes you and ensures your privacy. If at any time you feel uncomfortable due to pain, treatment or draping, please let me know. Before and after the massage, you will be able to undress and dress in complete privacy.
